#tbt I would like to have my bangs but u can’t. Physical predicament. #sigh
Most of us in one point have encountered long wait for Licensing @ DMV. The anxiety and frustrations it can bring which pretty much sums up what state I am in right now. To give you an idea, I feel like a whistling kettle on its boiling point. Yeah, screaming & squirming badly inside my head. If I can voice it out it’ll be like “Get your act straight you DMV!” Why am here anyways? I’m sitting here waiting, among all these Los Angelinos in behalf of my brother TJ. He’s 19 y/o. Here’s the whole senario, DMV placed a restriction on my brother’s driver’s license. The restrictions is that he can’t drive in the freeway. This is due to a congenital issues that my brother has since birth. It’s called Amblyopia. Its definition is dimness of sight, without apparent organic defect. So, our good and faithful DMV asked him to get a doctor’s note for a prescription of eye glasses which he complied with. Upon presenting the Ophthalmologist’s note, according to my brother, the DMV personnel ask him to return to the doctor and ask for a prescription. Whaaaat? Oh wait, the Ophthalmologist clearly states in the note that he doesn’t need one. So why am I writing this? Could someone please explain to me and can put sense in my mind, why would DMV would bypass the doctor’s note? That doesn’t make sense right? Argh! Anyway, the receptionist gave us a #G74 and they’ve just called #G57. Now, I am going to face and communicate the whole predicament and plead for my brother’s behalf. My brother has been in DMV for the 4th time. In this moment of reflection as I gather my thoughts and pull myself together, i am meditating on Proverbs 16.
